Welcome to our June Virtual Worlds Salon, the summer party and the meeting place for those doing business in virtual worlds and MMOs, held at The Hospital in London's Covent Garden.
Our first salons welcomed over a hundred participants from all over Europe and the US, as well as UK virtual worlds stalwarts - check out the photos here http://www.flickr.com/photos/sashinkauk/sets/72157604049046494/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/sashinkauk/sets/72157605119886519/
This month's salon is a perfect opportunity to enjoy London's fine summer weather, meet and greet interested parties from all over Europe.
Covent Garden has long been a popular area for creative thinking, entrepreneurship and entertainment, core values of our Strategic Partner, The Hospital. Based on the site of an 18th Century hospital, London’s pre-eminent centre for the creative and media communities is set over 7 floors, and home to a Private Members Club with several bars and lounges, a Gallery, TV & Music recording studios.
The perfect setting for relaxed drinks and networking, the Virtual Worlds Salon is a great opportunity to meet European virtual worldists, and all those exploring how virtual worlds can interface with social networking, games and MMOs, for drinks and conversation in a laid-back atmosphere.
This is an invitiation-only event, and you need to be on the guest list to guarantee entrance. Our parties are pretty popular, and the last three Salons sold-out in 90 minutes, and there's a limited guest list, so sign up now to ensure your place.
See you on the 19th.
